So far I'm very happy with the Saki Bread maker.
This Saki Breadmaker (full sized loaf) machine replaced a Z........ machine. and for 1/2 the price it basically does the came thing. My first loaf was basic white and I screwed it up by the wrong cup count on the flour (really stupid). 2nd loaf was medium size wheat loaf...this loaf was very well formed although I thought it was a bit large (top of pan) for a medium size loaf. I think that this wheat recipe would do better with just 1 tsp of yeast instead of 1. 1/2 tsp. The crust was perfect on top but a little thick on the bottom. Overall it was a very good loaf. It was much quieter than the Z........ machine. (no complaints from the wife!) It took a little while to figure what time to take out the paddles b4 the final rise. It would be nice if the stage symbols were a little larger, but overall the display was easy to use. The pan and the paddles are very slick and easy to clean and I'm hoping that they outlast the pan and paddles on the Z........ machine.
