Assembly was a nightmare. I did it by myself but you definitely need two people to make the process easier lol. Mine came with no damage. Shipping box was intact. Took about an hour and a half to assemble. It's perfect for my 2.5 year old son. He loves it. (Mattress not included) we bought a beautiful toddler mattress to go with it. It's sturdy and seems to be good quality. I would recommend. It's just the right height for a toddler.

Assembly the bed was easy of course I had to have my daughter hold pieces for me. And the instructions was easy to read and all the pieces was there and they give you extra screws. The bed is for my granddaughter which is 2 years old. So yes, I believe and I see that she has laid in it and played in it. It is sturdy
