My Asrock motherboard burned out my CPU, so I did some research to find an MSI motherboard and Walmart had it in stock and at the cheapest price. Working great with my new AMD 9950 X 3D processor. Is as advertised. Does everything I wanted and a few things i didn't know i needed. Gen 5, PCIE 5 with easy release (making it incredible), and wifi 7 with 3 type C ports that can be turned on and off via the bios. And of course, having 16 lanes to the GPU "always" is a big plus. Can't go wrong with this board

Good but with lots of caveats

This motherboard is a great product for a gaming PC but some flaws made me return it. I bought it for a production application, not gaming, but I this is no excuse. I needed to have dual GPUs, and this motherboard the third PCIE slot running at 4x lanes simply wasn't able to recognize the second GPU, the second slot that runs at only 1x did recognize it but the computer became super unstable. Another issues that I was not expecting was RAM memory compatibility, even though the motherboard states that is accepts 256GB of ram, there are no compatibility with any 4x memory sticks, so I was able to install my 128GB 4x 32GB Corsair Vengeance, but running at only 3400Mhz, not the stated 5200Mhz, and zero options to replace it with 4 dimms to achieve 128gb or 256gb at the correct speeds. Those 2 issues were decisive for me to replace the motherboard for a different one.
