I bought this for my son's 7th birthday band I have to say it is very heavy duty quality. I purchased it online so I had little expectations for the quality it would be. It is made from very heavy duty metal and seems very heavy and sturdy. I can ride it also without feeling like it is going to break. The pegs are very sturdy metal. And the handlebars seem to be attached to the body very well.

This particular Mongoose reminded me of my youth! This was a gift for my 10year old son. He's gone through bikes like crazy. He honestly wears them out. They were cheaper brands and I guess to be expected. This new mongoose has the big fat tires and a sturdy frame as I remember. He loves it! We've had decent weather here in the Midwest and rides it to school everyday. It's going to be reliable and last awhile! Very happy with Wal-Marts assembly also. On point and did a great job! Over all this was a great and memorable purchase.
