I have used this hair coloring for years. Nothing else when not on handy in stores. I changed only one time when I could not find frost and Designed my short hair turned out orange . Never again . I got this in the reg package, not the one that says LONG hair, which is a waste for short haired women. fairly easy to use. I never use the cap, too tiresome to bother with. I just grab a thin section of my hair and start at root and slide down that strand to the very end. I leave it on for 40 mins. my hair is med brown and I love the effects of this frosting/highlighter. Redo every 6 wks. came fast delivery!

I was so scared to try highlighting my own hair for the first time but this was very easy and the color turned out beautiful! I left the dye on for 30 minutes but next time would leave on for 45 minutes and make the pieces of hair I pulled through a little chunkier! All in all I'm very happy how my highlights turned out!
