Choosing the right size window film is all about measuring your window accurately. Here’s how you can do it:

• Use a tape measure to get the width and height of the glass area you want to cover.
• Add a little extra to each side if you want full coverage or plan to trim for a perfect fit.
• Check the product’s dimensions to make sure it’s large enough for your window. If your window is bigger, you can often overlap multiple pieces for seamless coverage.

Double-check your measurements before ordering to help avoid any surprises during installation.

Absolutely! Most window privacy films are designed for easy DIY installation. Here’s what you’ll typically need to do:

• Clean the window thoroughly to remove dust and grease.
• Cut the film to size, leaving a small margin for adjustments.
• Peel off the backing and apply the film to the glass, starting from one edge.
• Use a squeegee or a flat tool to smooth out bubbles as you go.

Some films use static cling, while others are self-adhesive. Always follow the instructions included with your product for best results.

Window films can do both, but it depends on the type you choose. Here’s a quick breakdown:

• Privacy films: These are designed to obscure the view into your space while still letting in natural light.
• Reflective or tinted films: These can reduce glare and block some sunlight, which may help with heat control.
• Decorative films: These add style and privacy, but the amount of light blocked varies by design.

Check the product details to see how much light transmission and privacy each film offers.

Cleaning windows with privacy film is simple, but gentle care helps keep them looking great:

• Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth or sponge with mild soapy water.
• Avoid harsh chemicals, ammonia-based cleaners, or rough scrubbers, as these can damage the film.
• Wipe gently and dry with a clean, soft towel to prevent streaks.

Regular cleaning can help maintain clarity and extend the life of your window film.

Many window films, especially static cling types, are designed to be removable and sometimes reusable. Here’s what to know:

• To remove, gently peel the film from one corner. If it’s static cling, it should come off easily without residue.
• For adhesive films, removal may require more care and could leave some residue that can be cleaned with soapy water.
• If you plan to reuse the film, keep the backing paper and store the film flat to prevent creases.

Always check the product instructions for specific guidance on removal and reuse.
