Square brackets in hardware are versatile supports used to connect, reinforce, or mount objects. You’ll often find them in shelving, railing, and furniture projects. Their right-angle shape helps stabilize corners or join flat surfaces, making them popular for DIY repairs and construction.

• They’re commonly used to secure glass panels, shelves, or posts.
• They can help strengthen joints in wood or metal frames.
• Some are designed for mounting curtain rods, handrails, or even light fixtures.

Choosing the right size and material ensures your project stays sturdy and safe.

To choose the right size square bracket, start by measuring the thickness and dimensions of the materials you’re joining.

• For glass clamps, check the bracket’s compatibility with your glass thickness (for example, 8-12mm or 0.31"-0.47").
• For shelves or posts, match the bracket’s length and width to your project’s needs.
• Consider the weight the bracket will support—heavier loads may need thicker or wider brackets.

Always review the product details or ask a store associate if you’re unsure. Proper sizing helps ensure a secure and long-lasting installation.
