Choosing the right sample vial size depends on what you're storing and how much you need to sample.

• For small quantities, like essential oils or powders, 1–5ml vials work well.
• Larger samples, such as water or lab reagents, may need 10–30ml vials.
• Consider the vial's shape and cap type—flat bottoms are stable, and screw caps are easy to use.

Think about your storage space and how often you'll access the samples. If you're unsure, starting with a variety pack can help you find what works best for your needs.

To safely store liquids in sample vials, follow these tips:

• Always use vials with leak-proof caps, like screw tops or flip-off caps.
• Fill the vial only up to the recommended capacity to avoid spills.
• Label each vial clearly so you don’t mix up samples.
• Keep vials upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

This helps prevent contamination and keeps your samples safe for future use.

You can reuse sample vials if they're properly cleaned and not damaged.

• Wash glass vials with warm water and mild detergent.
• Rinse thoroughly and let them air dry.
• Check for cracks or worn caps before reusing.

Plastic vials may not be as durable for repeated use, so inspect them carefully. Always make sure the vial is free from residue to avoid cross-contamination between samples.

Cleaning glass sample vials is easy with a few steps:

1. Rinse the vial with warm water right after use.
2. Add a mild detergent and gently shake or scrub with a small brush.
3. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap.
4. Let the vial air dry upside down.

For stubborn residues, you can soak the vial in diluted vinegar or alcohol before washing. Always make sure the vial is completely dry before storing new samples.

Sample vials are great for travel and storage because they're compact and designed to keep contents secure.

• Leak-proof caps help prevent spills in bags or kits.
• Clear vials make it easy to see what's inside.
• They're lightweight and fit easily into organizers or pockets.

Just double-check that the cap is tightly closed before packing. These vials are handy for carrying small amounts of liquids, powders, or even beads and small parts.
