Rosette washers are versatile hardware pieces often used to distribute the load of a screw or bolt over a larger area. This helps prevent damage to surfaces like wood, drywall, or furniture. Common uses include:

• Securing insulation panels or foam boards
• Adding decorative flair to furniture knobs and handles
• Supporting repairs in plaster walls and ceilings
• Enhancing the stability of cabinet hardware

They're available in various materials and designs, making them suitable for both functional and decorative projects around the home.

Choosing the right size rosette washer depends on your screw or bolt size and the surface area you want to protect. Here’s what to consider:

• Inner diameter (ID): Should match the diameter of your screw or bolt for a snug fit.
• Outer diameter (OD): A larger OD spreads the load more effectively, which is useful for softer materials.
• Thickness: Thicker washers offer more support but may not fit all applications.

Always check your project’s requirements and measure hardware before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

Yes, rosette washers are a popular choice for furniture projects, especially when you want both function and style. They can:

• Add decorative detail to drawer pulls, cabinet knobs, and handles
• Help distribute pressure to prevent wood from splitting
• Offer a finished look to exposed screw heads

With options in various finishes and patterns, you can match them to your furniture’s design for a cohesive look.

Both plastic and metal rosette washers have their advantages, depending on your needs:

• Plastic washers: Lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for insulation or moisture-prone areas.
• Metal washers: Durable, strong, and better for heavy-duty or decorative applications.

Consider the environment and load requirements of your project to decide which material works best. If you’re unsure, browsing product descriptions and reviews can help guide your choice.

Installing a rosette washer is straightforward. Here’s a simple approach:

1. Place the washer between the screw or bolt head and the surface you’re fastening.
2. Align the washer’s hole with the screw or bolt.
3. Tighten the hardware until secure, making sure the washer sits flat.
