Choosing the right size open-back frame depends on the artwork or photo you want to display.

• Measure your canvas or print to determine its exact dimensions.
• Frames are often listed by the size of the artwork they fit, so check product descriptions carefully.
• If you plan to use a mat, make sure to account for its size as well.
• For canvases, consider the depth to ensure the frame accommodates it.

Taking a few minutes to measure your piece can help you find a frame that fits perfectly and showcases your art beautifully.

Open-back frames are a popular choice for canvas art.

• They’re designed to hold stretched canvases without glass or backing, letting the texture and depth of your artwork shine.
• Many open-back frames come with hardware for easy mounting.
• Just make sure your canvas fits the frame’s rabbet depth (the space inside the frame).

This style is great for giving your canvas a professional, gallery-ready look while keeping installation simple.

Hanging an open-back frame is straightforward, but a few tips can help:

• Check if your frame includes hanging hardware like D-rings or wire.
• Use wall anchors or sturdy hooks for heavier frames.
• Measure and mark your wall before installing to ensure level placement.
• If your frame doesn’t include hardware, you can easily add it yourself.

Taking these steps can help your frame stay secure and look great on your wall.

Keeping your open-back frame looking its best is easy.

• Dust the frame regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or water, especially on wood finishes.
• If your frame has intricate details, use a gentle brush to reach crevices.
• For acrylic fronts, use a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches.

Routine care can help preserve the frame’s appearance and keep your artwork looking fresh.

Replacement parts like hanging hardware or mats are often available separately.

• Check the product page for compatible accessories or hardware kits.
• If you need a new backing or acrylic front, look for universal options that match your frame’s size.
• Walmart offers a variety of frame accessories to help you update or repair your frame as needed.

Having access to replacement parts makes it easy to keep your frame functional and stylish over time.
