Choosing the right size wall hook depends on what you plan to hang. Check the weight limit listed on the product packaging or description—smaller hooks are great for lightweight items like keys, while larger hooks can handle coats or bags.

• Measure your item to make sure it fits the hook's dimensions.
• Consider the space where you'll mount it, so the hook doesn't stick out too far or look crowded.

If you're unsure, it's often helpful to start with a medium-sized hook for general use.

Most mounted hooks are designed to work on painted walls, but it's important to read the instructions for each product.

• Some adhesive hooks are made for smooth, clean surfaces and may not stick as well to textured or freshly painted walls.
• To help prevent damage, wait at least a week after painting before applying a hook.

Always remove hooks slowly and carefully to reduce the risk of peeling paint.

To remove adhesive hooks safely, follow the manufacturer’s directions included with your product.

• Usually, you’ll want to gently pull the tab straight down, keeping it close to the wall.
• Avoid pulling the hook away from the wall, as this can cause damage.

If any adhesive remains, you can try using a soft cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol to clean the area. Results may vary depending on your wall surface.

Some mounted hooks are made for humid or outdoor environments, but not all.

• Look for hooks labeled as "water-resistant" or "outdoor use" for bathrooms, kitchens, or patios.
• Standard indoor hooks may lose adhesion in damp areas.

Always check the product details to make sure the hook matches your intended use. For best results, apply to clean, dry surfaces and avoid direct water contact unless specified.

Wall hooks are a simple way to add storage and reduce clutter.

• Use them in entryways for keys, bags, or hats.
• In closets, hooks can hold scarves, belts, or jewelry.
• Try mounting hooks in the kitchen for utensils or towels, or in the garage for tools.

Mixing different sizes and styles can help you create a custom organization system that fits your needs and space.
