2. On your computer or tablet, go to Bluetooth settings and select 'Add Bluetooth or other device.'

Connection steps may vary slightly depending on your device, so it's a good idea to check your device's Bluetooth menu for specific instructions.

To make your Bluetooth mouse discoverable, locate the pairing button—usually found on the bottom of the mouse. Press and hold it until the indicator light blinks, signaling it's in pairing mode. This lets nearby devices detect your mouse in their Bluetooth settings. If you're having trouble, check your mouse's manual for the exact location of the pairing button and any model-specific steps. Remember, keeping the mouse close to your device can help with a smoother connection.

If your Microsoft Bluetooth mouse isn't responding, you can try resetting it:

• Turn the mouse off and remove the batteries (if applicable) for about 10 seconds.
• Reinsert the batteries and turn the mouse back on.
• Re-enter pairing mode by holding the pairing button until the light flashes.

This process can help clear minor connection issues. For rechargeable models, turning the mouse off and on or using the reset button (if available) can also help. If problems continue, consult your device's support resources for more troubleshooting tips.
