Choosing the right mesh screen size depends on the area you want to cover.

• Measure your window or door frame carefully before shopping.
• Look for mesh screens that are slightly larger than your opening so you can trim them for a snug fit.
• Extended rolls and adjustable kits are great for custom projects.

Double-check product descriptions for width and length to make sure you get enough material. If you’re unsure, you can always ask a Walmart associate for help in-store or check the online guides for sizing tips.

Mesh screens are designed to help reduce the number of insects entering your home.

• The fine mesh acts as a barrier, making it harder for bugs like mosquitoes and flies to get inside.
• Some screens offer high-density or pet-resistant options for extra protection.

While mesh screens can be effective, results may vary depending on installation and mesh density. For best performance, make sure the screen is properly fitted and free of gaps.

Installing a mesh screen door is usually a straightforward DIY project.

1. Clean the door frame to ensure good adhesion.
2. Follow the instructions included with your mesh screen—most come with tape, magnets, or hooks for easy setup.
3. Trim the mesh if needed and secure it tightly to the frame.

Some screens are hands-free and use magnets for automatic closure. Always check the product manual for specific steps and safety tips. If you need extra help, Walmart’s online resources offer installation guides and videos.

To clean mesh screens, start by gently vacuuming or brushing off loose dust and debris.

• For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap solution and a soft sponge or cloth.
• Rinse with water and let the screen air dry completely before reinstalling.

Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools, as these can damage the mesh. Regular cleaning helps maintain airflow and keeps your screens looking fresh.

Mesh screens can be suitable for homes with pets, especially if you choose pet-resistant options.

• Some screens are made with stronger materials to withstand scratching or pushing.
• Magnetic mesh doors allow pets to move in and out easily without damaging the screen.

Always check product details for durability and consider your pet’s habits when selecting a screen. If you need extra strength, look for reinforced or metal mesh varieties available at Walmart.
