Setting up a lighted deer for your yard is pretty straightforward. Here’s a quick guide:

• Choose a location: Pick a flat, visible spot near a power source if your deer is plug-in.
• Assemble the pieces: Follow the included instructions to connect the frame and secure any parts.
• Stake it down: Use the provided stakes to anchor the deer, especially if you’re placing it outdoors where wind could be a factor.
• Connect the lights: Plug in or switch on the lights as directed. For solar or battery-powered models, ensure the panel or batteries are properly installed.

Always check the product manual for specific assembly tips and safety information.

Many lighted deer decorations are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, but it’s important to check the packaging or product details first. Look for labels like “indoor/outdoor safe” or “weather-resistant.”

• Indoor use: If the deer is safe for indoors, place it on a stable surface away from flammable materials.
• Outdoor-only models: Some decorations are built to withstand weather and might be too large or bright for indoor spaces.

Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure safe and proper use inside your home.

Proper storage helps keep your lighted deer decorations looking great year after year. Here’s how you can store them:

1. Unplug and clean: Disconnect from power and gently wipe off any dirt or debris.
2. Disassemble if possible: Take apart larger pieces to save space and prevent damage.
3. Wrap lights carefully: Coil light strands loosely to avoid tangling or breaking bulbs.
4. Use the original box: If you have it, the original packaging offers the best protection. Otherwise, use a sturdy container.

Store in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture damage.

Many lighted deer decorations are made with weather-resistant materials, making them suitable for outdoor use during the holiday season. Features like coated metal frames, waterproof LED lights, and secure stakes help them withstand rain and snow.

• Check the product description for terms like “weather-resistant” or “outdoor safe.”
• For added durability, position your decorations in sheltered areas or bring them inside during severe weather.

Always follow the care instructions provided to help extend the life of your outdoor décor.

If some lights on your deer decoration aren’t working, try these steps:

• Check the power source: Make sure the plug or batteries are connected and working properly.
• Inspect the bulbs: Look for any loose, broken, or missing bulbs and replace them if needed.
• Examine the wiring: Gently check for visible damage to wires or connectors.

If the issue persists, consult the product manual for troubleshooting tips. Avoid using the decoration if you notice any exposed wires or damage, and consider reaching out to the manufacturer for further assistance.
