Choosing the right size keypad lock box depends on what you plan to store. Consider these tips:

• List your items: Think about the number of keys or valuables you need to secure.
• Check dimensions: Compare the internal measurements of the lock box with your items to ensure a good fit.
• Space for extras: If you might add more items later, opt for a slightly larger box.
• Location matters: Make sure the box fits where you want to mount or place it, whether indoors or outdoors.

Reviewing product details and images can help you visualize the storage space before making a decision.

Many keypad lock boxes are designed for outdoor use, but it's important to check the product description for weather-resistant or waterproof features.

• Look for durable materials: Metal bodies and protective coatings help withstand the elements.
• Sealed keypads: Some models have rubber covers or sealed buttons to keep out moisture.
• Mounting location: Placing the box in a sheltered spot can add extra protection.

If you forget your keypad lock box code, don't worry—there are a few steps you can try:

• Check for a backup key: Some models include a physical key for emergencies.
• Review the manual: Instructions may offer reset options or troubleshooting tips.
• Contact support: The manufacturer's customer service can often help with code resets or guidance.

For security, avoid sharing your code widely and keep backup access information in a safe place.

Keeping your keypad lock box clean helps it work smoothly and last longer. Here’s how:

• Wipe the exterior: Use a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
• Clean the keypad: Gently wipe the buttons to prevent buildup, which can affect performance.
• Check for debris: Make sure the locking mechanism and hinges are free of grit or buildup.

Regular cleaning can help maintain both appearance and function, especially for outdoor lock boxes.

Keypad lock boxes can offer a secure way to store keys and small valuables, especially when used as intended.

• Choose sturdy construction: Look for heavy-duty materials and tamper-resistant features.
• Limit access: Only share the code with trusted individuals.
• Consider location: Mounting the box in a discreet or hard-to-reach spot can add extra security.
