Heat risers are designed to elevate heating and cooling units, like heat pumps or air conditioners, above the ground. This helps protect your equipment from water, debris, and pests, and can also improve airflow around the unit. By lifting your system off the ground, heat risers can help reduce the risk of rust and prolong the life of your equipment. They're especially useful in areas prone to heavy rain or snow, where keeping equipment dry is important for performance and longevity.

Choosing the right size heat riser depends on the weight and dimensions of your heating or cooling unit.

• Check your equipment's weight and make sure the riser can support it.
• Measure the base of your unit to ensure it fits securely on the riser platform.
• Consider the height you need to keep the unit clear of water or debris.

Many heat risers are designed for easy installation, but the process can vary based on your equipment and the type of riser.

• You'll typically need to lift your unit safely and place the risers underneath each corner.
• Make sure the surface is level and stable before setting the equipment down.
• If your unit is heavy or hard to move, consider getting help or hiring a professional to avoid injury or damage.

Keeping your heat risers clean is simple and helps maintain their durability.

• Periodically check for dirt, leaves, or debris that may collect around or under the risers.
• Use a soft brush or cloth to wipe them down as needed.
• If you notice any buildup, a mild soap and water solution can help remove grime.

Most heat risers are compatible with a wide range of outdoor heating and cooling units, but it's important to check the specifications.

• Verify the weight capacity and size of the riser to match your equipment.
• Some units may have unique base shapes or mounting requirements, so always review your unit’s manual.
• If you have questions about compatibility, reaching out to a professional installer or the equipment manufacturer can provide guidance.
