GPS trackers can offer peace of mind by helping caregivers and families monitor the real-time location of elderly loved ones. Many devices feature geo-fencing, which lets you set up safe zones and receive alerts if the person leaves those areas. Some trackers also include SOS buttons for emergencies and fall detection features. These tools can be especially helpful for seniors who may wander or need extra support, making it easier to respond quickly if they need assistance.

Most GPS trackers are designed to work both indoors and outdoors, but their accuracy can vary. Outdoors, GPS signals are typically stronger, providing more precise location updates. Indoors, the signal may be weaker due to walls or interference, which can affect tracking accuracy. Some devices use additional technologies, like Wi-Fi or cellular networks, to help improve indoor tracking. It's a good idea to check the product details to see what features are included for different environments.

Many GPS trackers require a subscription for real-time tracking and alert features, as they use cellular networks to send location data. The subscription typically covers data usage and access to the tracking platform. Some devices may offer limited features without a subscription, but for full functionality, ongoing service is usually needed. Be sure to review the product details to understand what's included and any additional costs.
