Choosing the right size sectional depends on your room's layout and how you plan to use the space.

• Measure your area: Use a tape measure to check the length and width of your living room, leaving enough space for walkways.
• Consider seating needs: Think about how many people you want to seat comfortably.
• Check product dimensions: Compare your measurements with the sectional's listed dimensions to ensure a good fit.
• Visualize placement: Use painter's tape to outline the sofa's footprint on your floor for a better sense of scale.

This approach can help you find a sectional that fits your space and lifestyle.

Cleaning your sectional depends on the fabric type.

• Vacuum regularly: Use a soft brush attachment to remove dust and crumbs from cushions and crevices.
• Spot clean stains: Blot spills quickly with a clean, damp cloth. For fabric, use a mild upholstery cleaner as directed by the manufacturer.
• Check care tags: Always follow the care instructions provided with your sofa for best results.
• Rotate cushions: Flipping and rotating cushions can help them wear evenly and stay fresh.

Regular care can help keep your sectional looking great over time.

Many modular sectionals are designed for flexibility, allowing you to move and reconfigure the pieces to suit your needs.

• Check product details: Look for information about modular or movable sections in the product description.
• Easy adjustments: Some sectionals let you switch the chaise or ottoman to either side, or separate the pieces for different layouts.
• Room updates: Rearranging can help you refresh your space or accommodate guests.

Always review the assembly instructions to understand your sectional's options.

Sectionals can sometimes shift on hardwood or tile floors.

• Use furniture grippers: Place non-slip pads or rubber grippers under the legs to help keep the sofa in place.
• Add a rug: Positioning your sectional on an area rug can provide extra grip and protect your floors.
• Check connectors: Some sectionals include hardware to link pieces together, which can also help prevent movement.

These tips can help your sectional stay put and keep your living area tidy.

Some sectional sofas include built-in storage features, such as ottomans or under-seat compartments.

• Ottoman storage: Many sectionals come with a movable ottoman that opens up for storing blankets, pillows, or games.
• Hidden compartments: Certain models offer storage beneath the seats, which can be handy for keeping your living room organized.

Check the product description or features list to see if storage is included with the sectional you're considering.
