Flex Paste is designed as a super thick, rubberized sealant that can help block out water and air when applied properly. It works on a variety of surfaces like walls, roofs, and concrete, making it useful for sealing leaks and gaps. For best results, surfaces should be clean and dry before application, and you may need to apply multiple layers depending on the severity of the leak. While many users find it effective, performance can vary based on surface type and conditions. Always follow the instructions provided with the product for optimal results.

• Flex Paste generally adheres well to most common building materials, but it may not bond effectively to certain surfaces.
• It’s not recommended for use on oily, greasy, or wet surfaces, as these can prevent proper adhesion.
• Some flexible plastics, silicone, and certain types of rubber may also resist bonding.
• If you’re unsure, it’s a good idea to test a small area first or check the manufacturer’s guidelines for compatibility.

While Flex Seal products are versatile, there are some surfaces and situations where they may not be suitable.

• Don’t use Flex Seal on surfaces that will be exposed to extreme heat, such as engine parts.
• It’s not intended for use on drinking water systems or food-contact surfaces.
• Surfaces that are constantly submerged or under high pressure may not achieve a lasting seal.

Flex Paste and Flex Seal are both part of the same family of products, but they serve different purposes.

• Flex Paste is a thick, spreadable putty that fills gaps, cracks, and holes, making it ideal for repairs where you need to build up material.
• Flex Seal is typically a liquid or spray that creates a waterproof coating, best for sealing surfaces quickly and evenly.

Yes, once Flex Paste has fully cured, you can paint over it to match your project’s look.

• Make sure the paste is completely dry before applying paint, which can take several hours or longer depending on thickness and environmental conditions.
• Use compatible paints for best adhesion and appearance.
