Starting pulley exercises after shoulder surgery depends on your recovery plan and your healthcare provider's guidance. Generally, pulleys are introduced during the early stages of rehabilitation to help restore range of motion, but timing varies based on the procedure and individual healing. Always consult your medical professional before beginning any exercise. Using an over-the-door shoulder pulley can be a gentle way to start moving your arm, but safety and proper technique are key. If you're shopping for pulleys, look for adjustable systems that fit securely over doors and offer comfortable handles for easy use at home.

Shoulder pulleys are often used to support mobility and flexibility for people experiencing frozen shoulder. By allowing controlled, gentle stretching, these devices can help you gradually increase your shoulder's range of motion.
