To check if a conversion kit fits your vehicle, start by reviewing your vehicle's make, model, and year. Most kits list compatible vehicles in their product details. It's a good idea to double-check your owner's manual for any unique requirements. If you're unsure, you can bring your vehicle information to your local Walmart Auto Care Center or reach out to the kit's manufacturer for guidance. Proper fit is important for safety and performance, so always confirm compatibility before purchasing or installing a kit.

The tools you'll need depend on the type of conversion kit and your vehicle. Common tools include:

• Socket and wrench sets
• Screwdrivers
• Pliers
• Jack and jack stands (for suspension or exhaust kits)
• Torque wrench

Some kits may require specialty tools, which are usually listed in the kit instructions. Always read the included manual before starting, and consider having a professional handle the installation if you're not comfortable with DIY auto work.

Many conversion kits are designed for DIY installation, but the difficulty can vary. If you have basic mechanical skills and the right tools, you might be able to handle simpler kits, like bolt-on parts. More complex kits, such as engine or suspension conversions, may require advanced knowledge and equipment. If you're unsure or new to auto repairs, it's a good idea to consult a professional mechanic to ensure everything is installed safely and correctly.

After installing a conversion kit, regular maintenance helps keep your vehicle running smoothly. Here are some tips:

• Check all bolts and connections after the first few drives
• Follow the kit's maintenance guidelines, if provided
• Inspect for unusual noises or vibrations
• Keep an eye on fluid levels and tire wear if the kit affects suspension or drivetrain

Routine checks can help catch issues early and extend the life of your conversion kit and vehicle.

Most conversion kits include printed instructions in the box. If yours didn't, check the manufacturer's website for downloadable manuals or installation videos. You can also visit Walmart's product page for your kit, where additional resources or links may be available. If you still need help, consider reaching out to customer support or a local auto professional for guidance.
