Choosing the right size Command strips depends on the weight and type of item you want to hang.

• Check the packaging for weight limits—large strips typically hold heavier items, like framed art or mirrors.
• For bigger or bulkier objects, opt for heavy-duty or large strips.
• If you're hanging something delicate or lightweight, medium or small strips may be enough.

Always follow the instructions for best results, and make sure your wall surface is clean and dry before applying the strips.

Command strips are designed for use on painted walls, but it's important to ensure the paint is fully cured and the surface is clean.

• Wait at least a week after painting before applying strips.
• Wipe the wall with rubbing alcohol to remove dust and oils.
• Press the strip firmly for the recommended time to help it stick.

Keep in mind, some textured or delicate surfaces may not work as well, so always check the instructions for compatibility.

To remove Command strips safely, follow these steps:

1. Hold the item gently and pull it away from the wall.
2. Grab the exposed tab of the adhesive strip.
3. Slowly stretch the strip straight down, keeping it parallel to the wall.

This technique helps the adhesive release cleanly, minimizing the risk of marks or residue. Avoid pulling the strip out or at an angle, as this can damage the surface.

Command strips stick best to smooth, clean surfaces like painted walls, glass, tile, and finished wood.

• Surfaces should be free of dust, grease, or moisture.
• They may not adhere well to textured walls, wallpaper, or rough surfaces.
• Always check the packaging for specific surface recommendations.

For optimal results, prep the area with rubbing alcohol and let it dry before applying the strips.
