You can browse colored cellophane on Walmart.com and check in-store availability based on your location. Options typically include pre-cut sheets and wrap rolls in assorted colors.

• Start online: Filter by format (sheets vs. rolls), size (e.g., 7.5"–8.5" sheets, 16"–34" wide rolls), and color (single-color or multicolor packs).
• Check availability: Enter your ZIP code to see pickup, delivery, or shipping options. Stock can vary by store and item.
• Read the details: Review dimensions, quantity counts, and material notes (many listings specify plastic or PVC film).
• Plan your project: For large baskets or windows, a roll offers continuous coverage; for classroom crafts or small gifts, sheets are convenient.

Reviews and photos can provide helpful context, but availability and features may change.

You’ll find a wide range of translucent colors, along with assorted packs for variety. While selection varies by item, common options include:

• Single-color rolls: Red, blue, green, orange, and other basics for themed projects.
• Assorted sheet packs: Mixed sets featuring primary and secondary hues (often 8+ colors).
• Metallic and specialty: Some multi-packs include silver and gold, and there are iridescent films for a rainbow sheen.

Tip: If you need a specific palette, check the product photos and color list on the item page. Color intensity can vary by brand and thickness, and screens may display hues differently. Ordering an assorted set can be a flexible way to match multiple projects.

Some listings mention crafts and candy wrapping, but materials can differ. Many colored films for crafts are plastic/PVC and may not be labeled for direct food contact.

• Check the product page: Look for any food-contact guidance. If it isn’t clearly stated, it’s safer to use them decoratively.
• Use a barrier: Wrap treats in a food-safe inner layer (e.g., parchment or a food-safe bag) and add the colored sheet as an outer accent.
• Test first: If moisture is involved, test a small piece to see how the color looks with your items.
• Safety notes: Keep film away from heat and open flames, and avoid suffocation hazards by keeping out of reach of young children.

Approaches may vary by project, so choose what fits your needs.

It depends on your project size and workflow. Both options can work, but each has advantages:

• Rolls: Best for baskets, large gifts, windows, and continuous coverage. Fewer seams and plenty of length; common widths range from about 16" to 34" on this page.
• Pre-cut sheets: Ideal for small crafts, classroom activities, and quick wrapping. Popular sizes include roughly 7.5"×7.5", 8"×8", or 8.5"×11".
• Waste vs. flexibility: Sheets help reduce cutting and waste on small items; rolls give you maximum flexibility for custom cuts.
• Storage: Sheets store flat; rolls take more space but cover bigger projects.

Review the item dimensions and quantities to match your project plan.

These colored films can add a tinted effect for crafts, displays, or windows, but they’re not professional lighting gels. Results depend on color density, layering, and your light source.

• Use cool lights: Choose low-heat LEDs and avoid direct contact with hot bulbs or fixtures.
• Test small first: Try a small piece to preview brightness and color before committing.
• Secure carefully: Tape edges to a frame or surface so film doesn’t touch hot components.
• Consider transparency: Most options are transparent or translucent; stacking layers can deepen color but may reduce light output.

If you need heat-rated filters for photography or stage use, check product specifications carefully and consider specialized gels.
