A high pressure drain blaster uses bursts of compressed air to help clear clogs in toilets, sinks, and drains. Here’s how it typically works:

• Air is pumped into the device using a built-in handle or trigger.
• Pressure builds up and is displayed on a gauge, so you know when it’s ready.
• Once positioned over the drain, you release the air, which pushes the clog through the pipe.

This method can be effective for common blockages, but results may vary depending on the type and severity of the clog.

Yes, many clog blasters are designed for use on kitchen sinks as well as toilets and floor drains. Before using, make sure the attachment fits securely over your sink drain to prevent splashing. Always follow the instructions provided with your tool, and avoid using excessive pressure, especially on older pipes. If the clog persists, it may be best to consult a plumbing professional for further assistance.

Before using a drain blaster, it’s a good idea to:

• Remove standing water from the area if possible.
• Check for a tight seal between the tool and the drain to prevent air leaks.
• Read the instructions for your specific model to ensure safe operation.
• Wear protective eyewear and gloves if recommended by the manufacturer.

Taking these steps can help you use the tool more effectively and safely.

To clean your air plunger after clearing a clog:
