Choosing the right envelope size for checks depends on the type and size of checks you use. Most business and personal checks fit standard #8 or #10 envelopes. To make sure your checks fit securely and stay private, measure your check and compare it to the envelope's dimensions listed in the product details. If you use checks with windows for addresses, look for double or single window envelopes that match your check layout. This helps keep sensitive information covered and ensures a professional look when mailing.

Gummed envelopes require you to moisten the adhesive strip before sealing, while self-seal (or peel & stick) envelopes have a pre-applied adhesive covered by a strip you peel away. Self-seal options are quicker and more convenient, especially if you’re sending a lot of mail. Gummed envelopes can be a good choice for occasional use or if you prefer a traditional seal. Both types are designed to keep contents secure, so your choice comes down to convenience and personal preference.

Security-tinted envelopes have a printed pattern on the inside that makes it harder to see through the envelope.

• They help keep sensitive details, like account numbers or personal info, private during mailing.
• This is especially important for checks, invoices, or any documents with confidential data.
• While no envelope can guarantee complete privacy, security tinting adds an extra layer of protection against prying eyes.

Absolutely! While these envelopes are designed for checks, they’re also great for mailing invoices, statements, cash, coins, or small documents.

• Double window envelopes work well for forms with pre-printed addresses.
• Smaller envelopes can help organize receipts or budget cash.
• Just make sure the contents fit comfortably and don’t overstuff the envelope to avoid damage during mailing.

To keep your envelopes ready for use, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Excess heat or humidity can cause the adhesive to dry out or stick prematurely.
• Keep them in their original packaging or a sealed container to prevent dust and bending.
• If you use self-seal or peel & stick envelopes, make sure the adhesive strips stay covered until you’re ready to use them.
