Absolutely! You can easily browse and order carpet samples online at Walmart. Just search for the style or color you’re interested in, and look for sample sizes—usually around 18" x 18". Ordering samples lets you see and feel the material in your own space before making a bigger commitment. This way, you can compare colors, textures, and patterns to find what fits your home best. Once you’ve decided, you can return to Walmart.com to purchase the full-size rug or carpet that matches your style and needs.

Carpet samples are a smart way to test out different options before buying a full-size rug. Here’s how they can help:

• See true colors: Lighting at home can make colors look different than online photos.
• Feel the texture: Touching the sample helps you decide if it’s soft, plush, or more durable.
• Check compatibility: Place samples next to your furniture and décor to see what matches best.

This hands-on approach can make you feel more confident about your final choice.

Walmart’s return policy for carpet samples may vary depending on the specific product and seller. In most cases, samples are considered final sale due to their small size and purpose. It’s a good idea to review the return details listed on the product page before purchasing. If you have questions, you can always reach out to Walmart’s customer service for clarification. This helps ensure you know what to expect before placing your order.

When comparing carpet samples, keep these factors in mind:

• Color accuracy: Check how the sample looks in your room’s lighting.
• Texture and pile: Feel the surface to see if it’s comfortable and fits your needs.
• Durability: Consider how the material will hold up in high-traffic areas.
• Style match: Make sure the pattern and color complement your existing décor.

Taking your time with samples can help you make a choice you’ll love for years.

Ordering a few different carpet samples is a great idea if you’re unsure about style or color. Most customers find that 2–4 samples give them enough variety to compare options side by side. This makes it easier to see which one works best with your space, furniture, and lighting. Remember, seeing and feeling the samples in person can help you make a confident decision before investing in a larger rug or carpet.
