Choosing a stapler for binding books or booklets depends on a few factors.

• Sheet Capacity: Look for staplers that can handle the number of pages you plan to bind. Some models can staple up to 100 sheets, while others are best for smaller projects.
• Stapler Type: Long reach staplers are ideal for booklets, as their extended arm lets you staple along the spine.
• Ease of Use: Features like ergonomic handles and jam-resistant designs can make stapling smoother.

Consider your project size and workspace to find the best fit for your needs.

Many staplers on this page are designed for heavy-duty tasks and can handle thick stacks of paper.

• Some models offer capacities up to 100 sheets, making them suitable for large reports or booklets.
• Always check the sheet capacity listed for each stapler to ensure it matches your needs.
• Using the correct staple size is important for thicker documents—some staplers include multiple staple options for flexibility.

For best results, avoid overloading the stapler beyond its stated capacity.

To help prevent jams, try these tips:

• Use the recommended staple size for your stapler.
• Don’t exceed the maximum sheet capacity.
• Keep the stapler clean and free of paper debris.
• Load staples carefully and ensure they’re seated properly.

Some staplers feature jam-resistant designs, which can make stapling smoother. If a jam occurs, most models include a staple remover to help clear it safely.

Refilling staples is usually straightforward:

1. Open the stapler by lifting the top or pressing a release button, depending on the model.
2. Insert a full strip of staples into the tray.
3. Close the stapler securely.

Always use the staple size recommended for your stapler to ensure smooth operation. If you’re unsure, check the instructions included with your stapler or look for guidance on the packaging.

Some staplers come with a staple remover included, but replacement removers can often be found in the office supplies section.

• Check the product details to see if a remover is part of the package.
• Universal staple removers are compatible with most standard and heavy-duty staplers.

If you need a new remover, browse Walmart’s office supplies for options that fit your needs.
