Choosing the right size bakery box depends on what you’re packaging. Measure your treats—like cookies, cupcakes, or cakes—before shopping. Make sure to leave a little extra space so your desserts don’t get squished. If you’re packing multiple items, consider boxes with dividers or larger dimensions. For single items or mini treats, smaller boxes work best. Checking the product description for box dimensions can help you match your needs. If you’re unsure, it’s often helpful to have a few different sizes on hand for different occasions.

Most bakery boxes sold at Walmart are designed with food safety in mind. They’re typically made from food-grade materials, which means they’re safe for direct contact with baked goods. Look for details in the product description, such as "food grade" or "suitable for food contact." If you’re packaging items with icing or oils, consider using included greaseproof paper or liners for extra protection. Always check the packaging or product details to confirm food safety before use.

Absolutely! Bakery boxes aren’t just for baked goods—they’re a great choice for gifts, party favors, and special occasions. Many boxes come with clear windows, making your treats look extra special. You can personalize them with ribbons, stickers, or handwritten notes for a festive touch. Whether you’re sharing cookies at a holiday party or giving homemade treats as a thank-you, these boxes help keep everything neat and presentable.

To help keep your baked goods fresh, make sure your treats are completely cooled before boxing them up. If the box comes with greaseproof paper, use it to line the bottom and sides. For extra freshness, you can wrap items in plastic wrap before placing them in the box. Store the filled boxes in a cool, dry place, and avoid stacking heavy items on top. While bakery boxes are great for short-term storage and transport, they’re not airtight, so enjoy your treats soon after packaging.

Most bakery boxes arrive flat and are easy to put together.

1. Start by folding along the pre-scored lines.
2. Secure the tabs into the slots as shown in the instructions.
3. If your box has a window, gently press it into place to avoid creasing.
4. Make sure all corners are tucked in for stability.
