Choosing the right laptop size depends on how you plan to use it. Here are a few things to consider:

• Portability: Smaller screens (11-14 inches) are lighter and easier to carry, great for travel or students.
• Workspace: Larger screens (15-16 inches) offer more room for multitasking and are ideal if you work from one spot.
• Comfort: Bigger displays can be easier on the eyes for extended use.

Think about your daily routine and where you'll use your laptop most. Trying out different sizes in-store can also help you find the best fit for your needs.

When it comes to storage, consider both the type and amount:

• SSD vs. eMMC: SSDs usually offer faster performance and reliability, while eMMC is common in budget-friendly models.
• Capacity: If you store lots of photos, videos, or large files, look for higher storage (256GB or more). For web browsing and cloud use, 64GB-128GB may be enough.

Many laptops also support external drives or cloud storage, so you can expand as your needs grow.

Most top-rated laptops are designed to handle everyday school tasks like writing papers, browsing the web, and video calls. Here are some helpful features to look for:

• Long battery life for all-day use
• Lightweight design for easy carrying
• Built-in webcam and microphone for online classes

Check the system requirements for any specific software your school uses to make sure the laptop is compatible.

To help your laptop perform well over time, try these tips:

1. Keep your operating system and apps updated for security and performance.
2. Restart your laptop regularly to clear temporary files.
3. Use a soft cloth to gently clean the screen and keyboard.
4. Avoid blocking the vents to prevent overheating.

Backing up your files and running antivirus scans can also help protect your device and data.

Protecting your laptop can help extend its life and keep your data safe. Here are some ideas:

• Use a padded sleeve or case when carrying it around.
• Set up a strong password or PIN for security.
• Consider adding a keyboard cover to guard against spills and dust.
• Store your laptop in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Taking these steps can help reduce the risk of damage and keep your laptop in good shape.
