Very cheap materials. Plastic and looks link contact paper wrapped around. The description says "Elegant marble appearance matches modern kitchens. It is also a thoughtful gift for housewarming, weddings, birthdays and holidays". NO WAY! There is nothing I can say about this knife block but CHEAP. Cannot recommend anyone to purchase.
