Perfect for our granddaughters sleep overs.

We really like the Kolcraft Fresh Start Polyfoam Mattress. It isn't the most firm mattress in this price range, but provides the necessary support for a baby. Our daughter sleeps really well through the night using this mattress and we have recommended it to our friends who are looking for a high quality, affordable crib mattress. For the first 6 months, she used a mattress that was 3 times as expensive as this one before we switched to this mattress and her sleep quality has stayed the same so this is an excellent option for someone looking for a mattress in this price range.

I received this mattress free for reviewing purposes from Kolcraft. I have two toddlers and I wish I would have bought this mattress rather than the other ones I purchased in this price point. This one is a bit more firm than the others in this price range. For what you are spending I think this is great! For babies you should be using a firm mattress. My kids liked the polyfoam we could really tell a difference in comparison to their other mattress they have at home.

This mattress is pretty in line with the other mattresses in this price range. It is a softer mattress, with a little less support. This would probably work for a toddler that is in a toddler bed, but I wouldn't use it for a little baby.
