A FEW PIECES WERE CRACKED WHEN WE RECEIVED THEM.

In my search for new dishes, I needed a set that would be microwave and dishwasher safe. I came across this set and not only liked the look since I had a set of bowls that were similar, but I saw that it was both micrwave and dishwasher safe. When the set arrived, i didn't immediately unpack them as I was reorganizing the entire kitchen. once the organization was completed, i took the set out of the box. Everything was intact, and they seemed in good quality until the first time I put one of the plates in the microwave. I set the timer for 1min 30secs, at about the 1min mark I heard a crack, opened the door and sure enough the plate had split down the middle. I picked the plate up from both sides, trying to keep the halfs together, and another piece broke off in my hand. I would say these are definitely not microwave safe as advertised.
