[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter system is perfect for my turtle. I love how the filter is easy to change out and the system seems to be working really well. It wasn't the easiest install, and the product does come with directions, but the directions were less than perfect. The system makes a low noise which is a bonus if you have it inside a room where people or other animals are sleeping.My turtle has a cleaner tank thanks to this system.

It seems to be well made and it'll hold up for a long time. It's a pretty quiet unit compared to others I've had. It's also very safe, as far as keeping small critters from being sucked in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter is fantastic! We have 3 turtles and anyone that has kept turtles will know that they are extremely messy eaters! Despite being rated for tanks holding up to 20g of water, we set up this filter in our 10g feeding tank and it keeps our water crystal clear after each feeding! Pros: - Whisper quiet, you'll never know the filter is running from a noise perspective. - Keeps water crystal clear even after 3 turtles have eaten. - Also has the ability to serve as a pump for water changes. Cons: - The filter media itself is made of a shredded material that is not contained so occasionally you will see a little floater. Overall, the single “con” is not enough to take my rating below 5 stars! I love this filter and how fantastic it is at filling our needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this filter! It was so easy to install and looks so durable. It went right to work and started cleaning the tank after a major water change. The 2nd picture was from when the water was still murky, but you can tell from the 1st photo taken from the top, it was cleaning the aquarium so well. The maintenance looks easy, too. I can't wait to use the drainage on top, this is will make water changes so much easier!

It was super easy to install and keeps the tank water clean much longer than other filters I've tried. The SmartClean system makes maintenance simple, and the noise level is minimal—which I love. My turtle is noticeably more active and healthy now that his water stays clearer. It doesn't take up too much space in the tank, and it's sturdy and reliable. Definitely a great pick for reptile parents!

stopped working after 2 days

First one did not work at all. Got a replacement and it worked for two days and then stopped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely hated this filter! For this price(as seen in photo above)????? My tank was super cloudy and the filter was really loud! It made weird gurgling by noises. I am disappointed in the durability because I was under the impression this would last me while. I also have no clue where to get pads to replace he old ones. Atleast the installation was easy! That's about all it has going for it!

the product arrived on time but the rubber hose used to empty the tank was not in the box . also the clip to attach it to the tank was missing.
