My sanity saver!

We've bought several of these and have them set up all over the house—and they've been a huge help in keeping our very curious (and very fast 😅) toddler safe. The extra height is what really sold me. A lot of gates are easy to climb or lean over, but this one gives that added peace of mind—especially for a toddler who is determined to explore everything. What I love: Extra tall = harder for little escape artists Sturdy metal frame (doesn't feel flimsy or wobbly) Opens both directions which makes daily use so much easier Clean, simple look that blends in with home decor Real-life use: We use these for doorways, hallways, and to block off certain rooms. With multiple kids and a busy house, it's been so helpful to have reliable barriers that actually stay put. Helpful tips: Definitely install the wall cups—it makes a big difference in stability Measure your openings first to make sure you're using the right extensions Tighten everything evenly so the door opens and closes smoothly The latch takes a second to get used to, but that's actually a good thing for safety Mom note: this has held up against a determined toddler and daily use—so that's a win in my book 🙌 If you need something sturdy, tall, and reliable, this is absolutely worth it. Safety sanity saver.

High quality Baby Gate

I really like the quality of this item. It is sturdy and well-made. It doesn't squeak or rattle and doesn't have any loose pieces. Even the latch feels very solid and secure. The quality is actually better than I expected. I highly recommend this gate to keep babies or pets out of areas where they shouldn't be.

Great baby gate

Love it, nice and tall I had bought it because I have a daughter living with a rare genetic disorder called Angelman Syndrome with this, she isn't very alert to the dangers, so a tall baby gate was definitely needed in this house hold.

It does take 2 hands to open but can be closed with 1 hand. I used the pressure mount method versus screwing it into the door frame and my grown son was able to accidentally knock it down. But it was very easy to install and reinstall after being knocked down. When measuring the height, measure to the bottom of the doorknob if you intend to close the door behind it.

A great gate!

We think this will keep a four-year-old autistic boy out of the small kitchen where he climbed cabinets and the refrigerator. He quickly learned to undo the refrigerator locks so this is our main hope for keeping him safely out. I used the option of blocking the rubber "feet" from slipping along the slick painted sheetrock wall. The boy is very strong, but seems to have given up on attempts to get through the gate.

Good Quality Safety Gate and Nice Looking

I dinged this safety gate one star due to the top railing being the same height as the door knob; higher or lower, would have been better. I will be able to raise the bottom rail off of the floor and maybe clear the door knob to underneath the railing. However, this would increase the trip hazard. It does work great in keeping the cats out of my small den area. The latch functions well.

Kitty deterent!

We are expecting a baby girl in March, and we want to keep our two cats out of the nursery. They easily hop shorter gates, so we nearly gave up and installed a screen door. This tall gate seems to be doing the trick so far- much to my relief. Our smallest cat is 8lbs, so if you have tinier felines they may be able to slink through the bars. Determined jumpers could definitely get over as well- the gate is tall enough to discourage our cats from trying. Another thing to note is that if you are using this gate for children or medium to large dogs you must use the wall mounts to keep this gate in place. The pressure mounts permit the gate to slide to much if force is applied (our german shepherd would have no problem plowing through it if she had a mind to). This gate definitely serves our current needs, and we couldn't be more pleased with it. Once baby is crawling and walking, we will definitely use it with the wall mounts.

Not as sturdy as another gate at the same price

This pet gate wasn't nearly as sturdy as a different one I found at the same price from a different company. Pros: It was easy to install with good instructions lightweight materials. Cons: There were 3 inch gaps between the door bars (vs 2.5 inches on a comparable gate), the door only opened one direction, the lock on the bottom of the door was hard to maneuver, and the top locks were more two handed than one. I don't recommend this gate for dogs of more than 30 lbs, and definitely not dogs that have shown any aggression toward each other. This gate is too lightweight for that. Plus the other gate that was the same price was 4 inches taller and had a wider doorway.

Poor design

Horrible design and description did not state that you need to screw in wall caps. The lock mechnism is absolutely ridiculous to do when holding a baby. You have to anchor the bottom "lock" and engage the top lock. I wish I could return it.

Baby gate

Gate is easy to install but the PLASTIC pieces used to tighten the gate don't hold the pressure well. You have the option to use screws to hold it in place but that defeats the purpose of the pressure gate. LOVED the height! The handle to open the gate however does require both hands which can be very dangerous when you are trying to get through from the bottom of the stairs and the gates at the top. Holding a baby or laundry basket poses a huge fall risk! And lastly I hope you're anorexic if you wish to walk through this gate without having to turn sideways! Poor design all around!
