Great for a lazy person like me!

Does this have the power of a full size vacuum? No. I would say this has the power equivalency of a corded handheld vacuum. So now, I have all three. If I'm having guests over, I'll use my full vacuum, for everyday crumbs around high traffic areas, I use my handheld... when I haven't sweep or vacuum in a while, I turn the Roomba on because I'm too lazy. I like that you can control it from your phone. This won't replace your vacuum, but it's good for being lazy. It shuts off after about an hour, and the canister is small, so don't expect it to pick up a lot. You'll have to empty it frequently. It's great a picking up dust and hair though. It doesn't cover a lot of surface area though, and in the time that it's wandering around the rooms, you could probably vacuum or sweep the house yourself... basically you're paying for the laziness, and that's worth it if you enjoy your laziness.

Wonderful to have! Not as smart as I thought...

It's addicting to watch, I can waste hours just watching it - I try to figure out why it sometimes goes over the same section over and over and yet seems to drive right past places it's missed. It doesn't seem as smart as I was thinking, maybe because I have a lower model. It doesn't seem to find its base (I keep the base in a back room) it will get lost and run out of power. Then I actually have to get off the couch and take it back! HAHA! However, it eventually cleans everything so very well, I'm very happy with it and can't wait for the company to continue making improvements to the new models! Thx!!

This has helped my house to stay looking great all week. Shortly after I would clean I would see fur blowing around. Now my floors look great. It takes a few days for Roomba to learn where to go but with in time it finds itself around. Goes under chairs, stools, etc without a problem.
