The only actual downside of this set that I could find was that it did not have any form of HDR. The picture that's on it is super clear, super sharp, one of the best-looking 1080p displays I've seen, and the high refresh rate is incredibly smooth, and the VRR works as you expect. You can get this monitor on sale, but even at its retail price, it is one heck of a good deal. If you don't need anything higher resolution than 1080p and you're focused on high frame rates, then this is a excellent choice for its budget.

this is my second purchase for a MSI curved monitor, my first was for a 27" loved it until I dropped it moving and ruined the whole screen. compared to that this one is ideal if you're wanting a couple more inches. I didn't think it would matter much but it's definitely increased my visibility when playing. I love that you can adjust all viewing controls for your liking or per game/show. handles every day wear and tear, could be made more durable but also don't drop it from about 4ft in the air..

Think I might just have a rather unique perspective when it comes to this review... I purchased one of these almost 5 years ago and it has been flawless. It's not 4K but it is a great gaming monitor running at 165mhz with a 1ms response time. Still bright and beautiful, the one I purchased today is for the sad day that this one I'm using right now ever gives up and with any luck at all, the new one will be just as solid for just as long as this one has been. Nothing pleases me more than seeing PCs, parts and peripherals live long, long, productive lives.
