Amazing

Amazing, came in great shape and I've loved using it with my new iPad. Just be TRIPLE sure you're buying the right pencil. It can get really confusing with all the different gens of iPads and pencils, all having different compatibility. I originally bought the wrong pencil, but was easily able to bring it to my local walmart for a refund ^^ just have to show the online receipt.

Inadequate paper like feel

Since the pen tip slides smoothly on iPad I was not able to write as I would write with pen on paper. Since then I have tried remarkable and their pen feel is more paper like. They can even search on my handwritten notes without conversion to text! Nothing against Apple pen, I just could not make it work.

Overpriced but does what it needs to do

Bought it to take notes on my ipad for college. It was on sale when I purchased it, and it does what it needs to, but is still overpriced in my opinion. Takes good notes depending on your apple pencil settings and those on your note-taking app. Looks sleek and modern, all white except for a different colored, slightly darker tip, which I never noticed online. There is a flat portion of the pencil designed to help with pen rolling, just place and it doesn't roll off your desk. I use this feature often. Connectivity to your ipad starts when you attach it on the side of your ipad, and it shows you a little charging icon when attached properly. Sometimes you'll place it so it sticks on the side and it does, but sometimes it doesn't start charging. Obviously it only connects with your compatible ipad, so make sure it's right for you. My only other problem is the battery life as it runs out quickly, even without use. I haven't really tested out its pressure sensitivity, but it's there I guess. The scribble options work, but sometimes doesn't translate my writing well or gets in my way when actually typing my notes.
