I bought dash cameras from anywhere from $250 down to $15 and the next base is the best one I found by far. It does have a little bit of a limitation and severe heat down here in Texas but with a magnetic mount, take it loose set it on the floorboard and it'll be fine if you forget and the screen goes grey unplug it from power and let it sit and cool off a little bit and it will work just like new I've bought at least 10 of them giving them to my children and friends because in my work van which is a Walmart work van I have one and it shows exactly what the idiots do in front of you. There's no question about it.

Best Witness Ever!

I bought this dash cam after seeing some crazy drivers and a close call. Little did I know it would tell my side of story after I got hit. It would of been a, he said, she said, police report if not for this "witness". I tell everyone to get a dash cam! I'm a senior and didn't have any trouble running the cord under moldings with the help of the provided tool. It was all very neat and turned on and off with the car so I never had to remember to tend to it. I plan on upgrading to one with a rear view camera.
