Amazing building experience

As a huge Vespa fan, I've owned a few over the years (and currently have mine stored in my living room for the winter!) I was super excited when Lego announced a Creator Expert Vespa. The building experience was awesome as there were almost no technic parts, I really enjoyed how all of the sub-assemblies came together to get the shaping just right. I'm not sure how other people are finding this flimsy as it locks together nicely and is easy to pick up and handle. This is one of my favorite Lego sets and I highly recommend it, especially if you're a Vespa fan.

A joy to build

I have built a lot of lego and this is one of the best builds ever, joint top with Ghostbusters HQ. I have a Vespa, and this was a no brainier purchase as I love all things Vespa. I was a little concerned due to the negative reviews stating that this set would fall apart if you just look at it. I can tell you it doesn't! Just make sure you follow the instructions, put all the pieces in the correct place and direction and everything will work out just fine. I loved this build, during each step it slowly starts to resemble a Scooter, then before you know it you have a mini Vespa right before your eyes. Such a pleasant built, very relaxing, perfect for mindfulness. I wish I could get hold of Vespa 40517 to display with this but it is never in stock. I love it and keep picking it up to admire it. Sembra una vespa!

Vespa Wow

Wow!!!!. Thank you to the designer. What an absolute delight to make. I really love this model. I am very impressed with the look - it has pride of place in my loungeroom. Making this model was great fun. The result is very sturdy, not flimsy at all and no loose bits. As with other reviewers recommendations, you only need to relax and pay attention to instructions. Definitely and seriously recommend to buy this. I don't normally alter models however this one screamed out for mirrors (yes, I'm bad. - I can always change it back). I'm prepared for negative reactions to this.
