If your unit has been standing idle for extended period of time and you cannot start it right away, please make sure that the battery is sufficiently charged to be able to crank the engine. The sufficient voltage shown by a multimeter might be misleading. The battery should be charged to deliver required electrical current.

Perfect size!

Finally decided I better be ready. This generator got great reviews an it fits the bill. Perfect size for well pump, fridge, freezer and a few outlets. Fired right up on both gas and PL first try. Comes with battery tender, nice touch, but with pull start, this is a worry-free set up.

Westinghouse 9500 w generator

Got this in the beginning of Dec. It's a heavy machine! Got it up and running within an hour. It's actually pretty quiet compared to my 20 year old generator! Fired right up on the first try! I hope I never have to use it because of a storm but I can't wait to use it!
