On sale for $279.00 with 8 gb ram and 512 gb solid state hd. Solid I5 chip. Not a gaming laptop, but perfect for casual use. Very solid build, very quiet and reasonable battery life. Whats not to like!

Pleasantly surprised by Gateway!

I purchased this after 7 or so years with a Lenovo that is still working, but I am really impressed. I did the research on the I5 processor, and the extra SSD space is really good. This is a 10-core machine, which is pretty impressive with a turbo speed that exceeds 4. I also like the touch screen and the ergonomics of it. Gateway (an Asus company) did an interesting thing when you open this laptop... it actually tilts the keyboard to a position that is very comfortable for typing. All-in-all, at this price point, it's tough to beat. I hope it proves to be a long-running machine for me!

I am a graduate student and depend on my laptop. This is the BEST LAPTOP EVER!!! Lots of memory, fast, dependable, and awesome. I got a great deal on my laptop, but it ranks up there with $700-$800 laptop easily. It is my second Gateway, I also have a 11.5 inch convertible. They both run Windows 11 and are compatible with each other and every device I have tried to connect to with the exception of my moto g cell phone. I would highly recommend this laptop to anyone.
