Great player

Happy to have this as my player for 4k disc and Blu-ray output. While it has taken some time to get the everything to work as I'd like, it does now. I got this unit to play 4k dolby vision HDR with dolby true hd 7.1 through my Ht-z9rf (or ht-z9f with rear speakers) with a Bravia 7. The Sony online help and manuals are difficult to get the right information when using all their products. I now am able to enjoy my 4k video and audio as expected.

I love movies on DVDs!

I love dvds so much. I love them because of the bonus features, like the director commentaries. I don't understand how people can love a movie so much, then have no interest in learning about the production of the movie. Like Jaws, it was such a nightmare to make, they had so many problems. The whole back story makes me love movies even more! I love sitting in my own home watching my movies, especially now on upgraded technology. I especially love how I just plugged in the new dvd player to my TV, and off I went to watch my movie.
