Man, i love this i was looking for something to play games to stream consoles that would work with my pc and found this, for money id say it is defiantly worth the money, it works well and very easy to use, only bad thing i had was with obs studio there was latency with sound but you can fix that easily in obs studio but overall best investment and purchase i made.

my son likes to stream games to his friends on discord. we were looking for a simple affordable way of doing this without using remote play on the Playstation 5. I came across this and thought I would give it a shot. it worked perfect for what he needed. he used a free capture software and I would imagine you need to be a little bit savvy with that to get it up and running. but for the product itself it couldn't be more simple. HDMI in HDMI out and USB 3.0 out. this was a perfect solution for his somewhat outdated computer without USB C.

I was considering buying an El Gato for a while but wanted to ensure I comprehend software, sound etc regarding streaming. I caught this on sale for $14 and am very happy! Setting up was not too difficult and there are plenty of vids on YouTube to assist. It captures up to 1080P at 60 FPS and captures audio from my Focusrite 2i2 perfectly.
