The Spa Sensations Memory Foam Topper was just what I needed to add some life to my aging memory foam mattress. I went with the 3"inch topper because I am a side sleeper and I like a plush mattress. This topper arrived in a compressed box and for the first couple days it had a bad chemically smell. The same happened with my memory foam mattress, so I think this is pretty standard. If you are sensitive to smells I would let it air out a couple days before using it. I love the texture of the topper - I just melt into it when I lay down. At first I thought this pad was too soft for me, but after a couple of nights of great sleep I changed my mind! My sleep has improved and I am not tossing and turning like I did with only my mattress. Also, I was able to fit the topper and my mattress under my standard fitted sheet, which was nice that I didn't need to buy a deeper one. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

If you're looking for a good value, somewhere between the cheap egg-crate style foam toppers, and super expensive memory foam toppers, this is the one. I bought this for our camping trailer queen bed, and it made a huge difference in comfort. I arrived vacuum sealed, in a small box, so you do need to open it up, and spread it out to let it expand to normal height. Ours had a slight chemical odor when I opened the packaging, but that dissipated very quickly. I would definitely purchase again, and recommend to friends and family. Incidentally, the photo I used shows the bedding I bought at Walmart, also. It was a comforter and pillowcase set, that I also would highly recommend. So do my dogs.
