16L pressure canner

I ordered this canner because it had a flat bottom that was suitable for a glass top stove. I did a trial run and found it difficult to maintain a constant pressure on my stove. I'll keep practicing! In the meantime I did a water bath canning and it was great. Fyi you can't water bath 1 Quart jars in the 16 L pot, as the pot is too small to fully immerse the quart jars. Delivery was quick! Overall, really happy with my purchase!

Very Good induction compatible pressure cooker

My wife has been using a pressure cooker for over 50 years and was saddened to learn that her pressure cooker was not compatible with our new induction stove. She has used it for the first time this week and has only one disappointment, that it did not come with time and pressure instructions (I am correcting this by purchasing such a book for an anniversary gift to be delivered this coming week).
