This foam mat is perfect for my classroom! The rooms in my school are not carpeted. Even though I have several rugs, sitting on the floor to do work or read can be uncomfortable. A friend of mine used foam mats in place of her rugs and loves the outcome. So, I thought I'd give it a try. I used it in place of the rug in one of my station areas. It was a huge success! While these borders are necessary, I really like how they make the matting look, with the smooth edge.
