Lovecraft Country: The Complete First Season [Blu-Ray]

The storyline is set in the early 1900s. Black magic was usurped from Black Americans and used to control them. The mysteries are pieces of the puzzle that must be solved to save their community. The atmosphere, clothes, cars, vernacular, music, and structures are in sync with those times. Though they do throw in a few in-time songs. There are witches, warlocks, and monsters. This is not the typical scary movie. The characters' work is horrifying, unexpected, and sacrificial. Episode 7 is my favorite. You will enjoy this series. The actors performed well because they were believable. I hope they will consider making a season two.
