Does a great job on the carpet and hardwood floor in my house. You can map in the app "no go" areas for vacuum, mop, or both. You can map areas and send the robot to only work on them. Choose the amount of water you want to be used in mopping mode. Easy to remove the brush in case you need to untangle stuck hair. Cons The app doesn't have a way to separate first floor from second floor. On Android as other users reviewed, sometimes when you open the app it doesn't have connectivity, so you need to close/clean cache or logout/login again. I think t's a great bang for the buck, and hope they can improve it even more with updates of software and firmware.

My floors have never been so clean!

This IHome AutoVac Nova is spectacular. It has completely changed my life. Messes are constant with 3 small kids and a large dog. This vacuum not only cleans the crumbs and fur, it collects the dust as well. I set a schedule and it does what it needs to. It works on hardwood, tile and carpet. The unit is smart enough to find it's charging station at the other end of my house when the battery is low. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone with a busy lifestyle. Setup was a little tricky but I did eventually get it to pair to my wifi. In total it probably took 20-30 minutes to unbox and set up. I don't think I'll ever manually vacuum or mop again!

Awesome robot vacuum!!

With seven pets it is a major task keeping the floors clean of pet hair. I very surprised that this robot vacuum has my floors cleaner than they have ever been. I used the iHome clean app to control the robot and map out the house. After the robot completely mapped the house I use the area clean feature to run the vacuum. The only problem I have experienced so far is locating replacement dust bags for the dust collector. Would recommend for any home and it saves time in your clean up chores.
