I grabbed two Arlo Essential Outdoor Cameras from Walmart for just $29 each — one for my front yard and one for the backyard — and I'm genuinely impressed! Installation was super easy and setup took just minutes. Even though I'm a hardcore Apple user and heavily invested in the HomeKit ecosystem, I found Apple's options too limited and way overpriced. While these Arlo cameras don't support HomeKit, I decided to try the Arlo app — and honestly, it works flawlessly. The app is smooth, notifications are quick, and the video quality is clear day and night. For the price, these cameras are a no-brainer. Highly recommended, especially if you want solid performance without the Apple price tag.

After installing these little cameras, our lives have changed . My husband is close to 82 and is always outdoor doing yard work. Because I work I always worry about him being hurt and not knowing.
