The shark air purifier max sense iq line of air purifiers are very helpful in improving air quality in my home. I did purchase another 1000 ft one from my local Walmart prior to my online order of another two 500 ft ones and had a bad experience of strong chemicals even after running it with windows cracked. When I returned it the customer service did a refund without questions. I said please don’t restock this one back on the shelf. I’d suggest ordering them online and make sure they don’t say refurbished on the listing or out of box or anything like that. A way to tell is the safety tape and the filter should be in a sealed unopened bag inside the unit. Everything should be sealed tight.

I would recommend this product 100%. Just not through Walmart. I purchased my “new” air purifier via Walmart only to open it and find a used one with a new filter. I was covered in dust and who knows what else. When paying for a new product, especially an air purifier, you would expect an unused, clean, working product. It works great however, not clean at all. Got this for my allergies and had to deal with more before I could continue. No user manual or remote. Greatly disappointed in Walmart.
